13 House Theater | Violin Concerto
Every sixth summer, the 13 House Theater hosts a concert by the sea.
The stone amphitheater {affectionately known as the Siren's Song}, sitting along the shore, has allowed musicians and poets to assemble during the warmest part of the year, for some time now. An intimate garden alcove, tucked away amid a bosquet of shrubs, trees & grasses with the mighty waters, at a distance, completing the scene.
This year's program showcases a young violinist who draws inspiration in her thoughtful arrangements directly from the ocean & it's ancient, storied song.
Her name is Morwenna and her violin will speak to your soul and the nature that surrounds you when gathered at this powerful, sacred space.
Many whom have heard her performances say it is as if Morwenna's playing is accompanying the sea. Like holding a delicate shell to your ear, closing your eyes and listening to the ocean's own melody.
So we invite to spend an evening by the sea.
Let yourself be guided by the lanterns dotting the path to the Siren's Song, take a seat, and give in to the harmonious lull of waves, music & euphony.
An ode to the sea & Morwenna's powerful talent - behold a classically stunning statement necklace.
A vintage violin peg nests amid cascading bits of vintage faux pearls, wood rosary beads, bronze glass and brass link chain.
The necklace measures 18" long including the lobster claw clasp.
{Antiqued brass plate & vintage brass}
