The wide bezel design is a bit suggestive of the Vacheron and Pateks made famous by the Italians nicknaming them "Cioccolatone" named after the chunk of Italian chocolate.
It has all its original parts down to the hands and winding crown and is in pleasing sympathetically restored condition.
The case is in near mint plus condition and retains all of its original Rolex stampings on the back. Its unpolished hallmarks are crisp.
Its dial has been restored by one of the leading dial experts in North America. And its fine handwound movement with Super Balance system is keeping very accurate time. One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it and installed a new mainspring.
For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new dark navy blue leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment. Please inquire if you would like a different style or color.
